I have a sketch drawn up, and I'll attach it now. It may vary slightly for strength as Marineland wants to have their CAD guy run his structural tests, but this is the basic plan. The display tank would be 84" x 36" x 30" - roughly 400g. Starphire glass with black silicone. The back wall where the overflow is will either be smoked glass or painted black, or I'll use window tint.

With the tank close to empty (still have to get out all of the sand and the last of the water, including in the overflows), I'm thinking about what to do next.

Wes is pushing for a huge upgrade. LOL It's always easier to get someone else to upgrade, after all. A bigger tank could be nice, but I know what the workload was for the 280g and have no reason to think it would be a minor adjustment for a bigger one. The top left corner of my tank is leaking. Ugh. I'm going to have to figure out what I can do about it today. The carpet is wet in the entry way.

My neighbor showed up pounding on my front door while I was busy measuring PAR in the fishroom. Turns out a small fire ignited on the transformer behind my house. And it's raining!

My angled tank is turning three next month. And I've been contemplating a new tank in that spot. I came up with an idea today, which I think will be amazing. Hopefully I can build it in the next couple of weeks. I know you guys want all the details, but I'd prefer to reveal it once completed. It'll be a little bit bigger, it'll have a nifty way of looking at it, and it'll incorporate a Vortech MP10 internally. I'm stoked!
