    I use the 150gpd RO/DI system for all my water needs, both drinking water and RO/DI for my reef. Using it for maybe five years or more, you get used to how it operates.   3. All these years, yet here's a first

    If you follow my blog, you know I like all things tiny. So I'm always looking for small things in my reef. Today I saw a squiggly thing and didn't recognize it. Was it even alive? Was it fish poop? Look up at that thing, I looked down on the substrate beneath to see if I could find "the other half" of whatever it might be.

  4. At the same time, each day...

    Every evening around 5:32 p.m. all the fish get excited about their pending meal. I have an Eheim autofeeder suspended over my reef in the upper left corner. It dumps food into the water though an acrylic bracket I sell on my site called the Eheim Chimney: http://melevsreef.com/catalog/eheim-...feeder-chimney This keeps the food in the water and none of it goes out/down the overflow into the sump.
