    Ive been mad busy with work and all that nonsense but I thought I should keep my peeps up to date on my build.   2. Equiptment Update (FINALLY!)

    In my previous blogs I have mentioned that I would be upgrading my system from the crappy LED's and Sea-Clone protein skimmer that I have. Slowly but surely as of last night the new Protein Skimmer was added (although it might have been way overkill haha) but thats what you should always do with any aspect of your tanks filtration. The lights have been on for probably 2 and a half weeks now and coral growth has been ridiculous since that time. (as far as my Chalices and Acros are concerned) ...

  3. Revamping the whole setup

    To sum things up my tank is one of the worst offenders of the "Cheap reef tank attempts." But, Change is a comin'. My systems specs are as follows. Main Tank: 100 gallons 48in L, 24in W, 24in T. Protein skimmer: Sea Clone, Pump: Little Giant external pump, Reactor: Phosban Reactor rigged for Biopellets, Sump: 30 gallons no refugium. Chiller: 1 hp, UV: Built in AquaFine UV Sterilizer.
