  1. Long over due update!

Hello! So I've been slacking! Blame it on work... ok let me bring you guys up to speed...
The back of the tank was painted black.

The sump was dropped in from the top of the stand. There is insulation inside the stand (the guy who built it suggested it) at first I thought it would not be a good idea turns out its a great idea keeps the water real cool and muffles the water/skimmer noise in the ...

  2. Leaky Reeflo

    Hello fellow addicts!
Glad to see all the progress out there. I too have been busy making some progress of my own. Pictures to come soon

Ok OK I'll get to the point. I'm putting together a 265 gal tank and I need help with the lights. Originally I wanted MH but I've changed my mind and want LEDs now. This is where I need help. I've done research and my brain is FRAZZLED! It seems like everyone has ...
  5. The stand has moved in!

Ok addicts the stand has moved in from the garage YAY!. The sump needs to be dropped in from the top so here is a shot of the stand with the top off. That's the wall the tank will permanently house. I'm really liking the color contrast between the expresso colored stand and the wall. Since the stand base is metal it weighs about 300lbs. The 120 will have to be moved and the stand will have to be centered on the wall prior to dropping the sump into the stand. There's no way to push the stand without ...
