  1. September 7th-14th: LED fixture online and working.

    Finally, after almost a year between planning, prototyping, building and coding, my DIY LED fixture came to life. On Sept 6th the woodworking shop, LD Marcenaria delivered the new hood (they are very good, super recommend them to anyone living in São Paulo). It looked good, had dimensions according to the Google Sketch I had drawn, seems strong, etc.

  2. EcoTech question

    Hello guys. I've been recently considering a possible upgrade to the EcoTech series of controller(s) powerhead. I really don"t know very much a/b these units, at all. I have a 46 gallon tall reef tank and i was wondering what size of the EcoTech units i would need and the benefits of a wireless driver or not? I will one day, have a larger tank, nothing larger than 90 gallons, and would like the EcoTech that could transfer to that tank. I've seen alot of u're tank pics, on here, have these EcoTech ...

  3. Bubble Magus NAC-5E Protein Skimmer.

    I was hoping someone could confirm whether or not the Atman PH-2000 Needle Wheel Pump on the Bubbles Magus NAC-5E Protein Skimmer can be used inside of water? This Protein Skimmer was designed to be used inside of the aquarium but because of the space restrictions on my new aquarium design I need to place it standing inside the sump. I would like to know for certain before I do this. If anyone could help that would be greatly appreciated.

  4. A Reef Grows in the Bronx.

    Well I recently started doing some remodeling in my apartment and I thought that I would start undertaking some major upgrades to my aquarium.
