I installed a SMR around January/February this year and had heard reports that it may trigger a cyano bloom that would eventually subside. In my case, that worked out to be true. I gave it a little encouragement with a popular product called Chemi-clean. But then it came back a month later. Slowly, but steadily. I treated again and increased the flow in my SMR to make sure I wasn't getting any dead spots in the reactor. I'm currently in process of my fourth treatment this year - and as a guy

So I am leaving for Tampa in a few minutes. I will be down there through Friday and was wondering what Local Fish Stores I should try to get to while I am in town? I prolly just do some window shopping since Macna is just around the corner.
Anyone ever heard of and or know how this thing works?
Got 2 protein skimmers for 20 off craigslist, the other is used and Its designed to where you cant really clean inside. The other is a Sea thru aquarium products, looks brand new, other than some scratches, but the lady knew nothing about it. I used a 350 pump with aeration attachment but the flow was so strong no bubbles formed and just blew water out the top. Then I got an air pump to add more air but having same problem.
