Things that are green

Rate this Entry
For some reason, I can grow green stuff well.

Candy cane. Need to nuke that aiptasia spoiling the shot.

Maze coral

Nepthea with green polyps

Torch coral

Zoanthids

Tongue coral

The Nepthea is the most pretty when the VHO actinics are the only light source. It positively glows with green color, but i'm having the worst time trying to get a picture of it that matches what the eye sees. This is somewhat close at least.

I agree 100% anything green in my tank does at least 10x better than anything else

maze coral is a beautiful specimen. I had trouble keeping torch corals in my system. They seem to do quite well for a short time, maybe a few months, and then melt-down.

I swear the only color harder to kill then green is brown I swear I have a forest of Kenya Tree corals growing in the septic tank that I used to flush weekly, lol

I have to agree, the maze coral looks gorgeous.

I think I have too much green in my tank, so are you implying that my attempt to diversify its color will fail?

Gerbilbox, a few months ago, I lacked green and wished I had more. Now I seem to only have it as all the colorful SPS are pretty much gone. Hopefully things are back on track again now and I can start acquiring some new pieces to put in my reef.
