the millepora arrived today! + a freebee

Late last week I put 4 bids on ebay for some millepora which no one carries locally, I bid a low enough amount to where I was willing to take a gamble but I wasn't going to go big I also decided that if i was going to win one I better win at least 2 so I got reduced shipping cost. As of last Sunday I won 4 millepora at an average of 6.00 each plus shipping and they all arrived today alive and the "hair" tentacle things are already showing on most of them (more than I ever saw on any other attempt for me to house these beautiful creatures.)

I have placed all of them in the bottom of the tank and will watch them closely over the next week before attempting to moved any of them higher gradually. I also received to my surprise a orange/punk/red (i can't tell what color it is) montipora setosa that the seller threw in I am assuming for buying so many at once. So now I also get to spend the night tonight at work researching how to care for a setosa. If it is anything like a monti cap it will be hard to kill but I am not taking any chances here. If anyone has any experience with one of these please let me know, as for now it is also acclimating at the bottom of the tank.

I would like to add I am not a big advocate of buying corals or livestock online (not that I am opposed to it either) as I would prefer to see it in a tank happy rather than look at pictures of it. But in this case I couldn't resist the chance to get 4 corals shipped for the price of one locally or off of a larger company website.

I will try to post some pictures when I get home, I promise they won't be the best quality but they will be posted

does anyone know what I should be looking for so I know if I NEED to place them a little higher in the tank? as in browning, hairless, they shouldn't bleach being too law should they just dull right?

on the top picture you can see the setosa to the right, it really it a nice pretty bright color in person my Iphone doesn't do any of these corals any justice. the bottom picture are of all 4 millepora, as U can tell right now they are not under direct light off on the side of the tank I am hoping that by taking plenty of time to acclimate them slowly they will thrive in my tank . last night I also started feeding my corals (at night rather than the day) and witnessed several corals eat/respond to cyclopeze that had never done that before (the branching hammer coral seemed to close around food, as did the candy coral, the duncan got fed without cleaner shrimp harassment.) The newest additions also seemed to show what people are considering a feeding response, now does this mean they are eating? i don't think anyone truly knows the answer to that but they showed the response that is talked about.
