    i have been having trouble with my skimmer its a seaclone 150 i know its not the best but its what i got for now the prob is i just reacenty started my150g i started in my 30g i have had the 150g up with live sand and rock for about a month so last week i added my fish and coral and the skimmer because i was using it in my other tank so for the last week i have been getting micro bubbles and i cant get rid of them why why i can not for the life of me figure out why and when the bubbles slow down ...

    congrats marc, looks like there will finely be a bright side to all you fustrations. oh buy the way did i say i was jealous. did you get a weight on your new tank, with 3/4 " glass it's going to be heavy. what is starphire glass i couldn't find anything when trying to look it up.

    Back in October of 2008 I bought a house, and then in January 2009 after months of taping outlines on walls I started destroying the basement of a 1950s home to put in my dream tank. Due to the economic situation that hit in 2008 I've had some big ups and downs and absolutely missed my original water in date of October/November 2009. Things have been relatively slow moving and I've had to take large breaks due to my job, school, and life, but its happening. I just want to make sure its done right ...

  4. Bending acrylic

    Alright, so I got all my auto top off parts in yesterday. I have some 1/4" acrylic and I want to cut a 2" wide strip and make two bends in it to make the bracket for the float switches. I have a propane torch that I was thinking of using to heat up the material. Would this be alright?
  5. Stage One Complete

    I'm happy to report that after three weeks of planning, two phone calls and about 40 emails, my next tank - my dream tank - has been ordered. I'm going to walk around like this for the next six weeks.
