NEED HELP STAT!

For absolute emergencies only

  1. First Ever Full Blown Aquarium Disease.

So the last fish inhabitant of my aquarium is about to pass on and after taking a full battery of water parameter test and going with everyone's suggestions on what I thought was a Bristle Worm problem I think the following photographs below would most likely point to some type of water born disease except I'm not expert on marine disease so if you have any thoughts than please chime in. It doesn't seem to affect any of the inverts, clams or corals within the aquarium. Your assistance in advance ...
  2. Possible Bristleworm Infestation.

So I started out with an aquarium that was loaded with fish but I noticed a few started to die off for no apparent reason. All of my Green Chromis have disappeared. I snail gone and I am only left with 2 Purple Firefish, 1 Clownfish a two Zebra hermit Crabs, 1 Sand Sifting Cucumber and thankfully all 4 of my shrimp. So without any further testing I am assuming that nitrate/nitrite levels may be higher than expected. I have a my Fluval G3 Canister filter running for approximately 3 weeks now with just the stock Activated Charcoal filter and I never ...

  4. Septic Tank

I am getting ready to setup a 500 gallon tank. I am on a septic system (concrete I believe) and am wondering if it is safe to do water changes into the septic system? What would it do to my drain field? Does anyone have any experience on this one please. I have spoken to several septic people. They tell me that it should be ok because people use salt to soften hard water. I think the salt mixture is a bit more concentrated in a fish tank than a water softer system, but I could be mistaken. ...
  5. plastic rating questions, toxins, coral recession

ok so I seem to have an issue with receding tissue on LPS corals that I have kept for years successfully. I first started noticing these issues after I lost all my sps as I have unsuccessfully raised sps since installing my bio-pellet reactor I took it offline, cleaned it, and stowed it away. The problems persisted and I thought perhaps since some bryopsis has persisted and lived in my refugium that maybe it was a cause (plus since the fuge was extremely dirty since I was having a hard time getting ...
