  1. RO/DI unit question

So I have to admit I did not buy a RO/DI from Melev, but to my defense I bought mine before I knew he sold them.

    But I have some questions.

So I am thinking I will put the unit in my garage, and use trash bins or the like for storing the water. One for waste and one for pure.
Now my thought was to have a float valve control when the ro unit stops producing water so I dont flood the garage. I didnt know at first but most units produce 2-4 times the amount of waste ...

So this is what I'm thinking for the sump. I'm going to add the baffles to make the mini fuge area. I like fuges more for the critter growth than anything. However, I have no prior experience with External Protein Skimmers and I don't know what is necessary? Can I install the External Protein Skimmer on the Floor below my aquarium or do I need ...

  5. Trusses are up where they belong

Today, I created this quickie shelving in the garage to give me some floor space back. It was crammed with everything in the way and I needed this anyway.

Then I ran down to Harbor Freight to buy a new can jack. There were a lot of options, but this 12 ton looked like it would handle the task. It was on sale for $24.99, and when I got to the register I found an unused 20% off coupon sitting there. I asked ...
