  1. Equiptment Update (FINALLY!)

In my previous blogs I have mentioned that I would be upgrading my system from the crappy LED's and Sea-Clone protein skimmer that I have. Slowly but surely as of last night the new Protein Skimmer was added (although it might have been way overkill haha) but thats what you should always do with any aspect of your tanks filtration. The lights have been on for probably 2 and a half weeks now and coral growth has been ridiculous since that time. (as far as my Chalices and Acros are concerned) ...

  2. My new light!!

Hey guys, just checking in to show the progress I've made. Over the past week I had a 90 gallon tank and stand listed on Craigslist. I didn't know how fast it would go, but I listed it on the high side of what I found in my area. By Thursday of last week the tank (shown below) sold!!

  5. Completely Revised & Spineless

My first year of reef keeping had its share lessons and mistakes. I had a detritus problem and the filtration was too inadequate to deal with it, so cleaning was a pain in the mass. I had problems dialing the lighting and flow just right, and as a result coral growth was inconsistent. This first year taught me what I really wanted (I think) out of the hobby, so I decided to start anew. I wanted a
