Test kit results

  1. How time flies...

As the need arises, I perform water tests for various parameters, but usually I do the full battery of tests monthly at the minimum. Much to my shock, I discovered that I've not done so since Dec 31, 2009! So here are my results from today.

The one number that is the biggest concern is Phosphate, which is way out of whack. It isn't surprising because my skimmer hasn't been operating correctly for some time now, ...

I'm also kinda wondering if anyone has combined a Zeo method with Prodibio, too....

I am curious to know if anyone else uses this product and if so, what kind of results are you seeing? Basically, the company info sounds promising but I want to know if it is a rip off. Thanks!

  5. A bit more

Calcium tested at 460. Dosed last night and this morning and the dkH is just over 7. Less than 1dkH shift, taking it slow.
Decided to hold of on purchasing a new light fixture, goal was to focus on the basics, and get my tank back in line. So going
to swing by the LFS today and pick up more T5 bulbs that have to be replaced.

Filter sock lasted 4 days before replacement, have two going to pick up another to fit in the rotation. I just feel guilty wasting so much ...
