Well lets get the visual stuff out of the way:

And the little pump that can't:

Ok So that's the pico that the aforementioned lego canopy will be built for. However due to some extra research the light that comes ...

  2. Electricity usage in Texas

It's that time of year again when many of us are going to be powering up our A/C systems to keep our homes and tanks cool. With that usually comes higher bills, so if you've not done anything about energy savings, now's the time.

Go to PowerToChoose.org and type in your zipcode. You can go through all the energy providers and find a good deal. For me, I prefer 12 months fixed, and limited the list to show just that. I've been with StarTex for the past 12 months, and was ...

  3. Lighting for my new tank

I'm planning on using 3 250W Radiums...which apparently makes my choices of ballast very confusing.

So I decided to purchase a second top off kit from Aquahub since the first one I bought worked so well. By the way the reason I heard about Aquahub was from Reefcast!

For all you Canadian's. Aquahub ships United ...

  5. Save $ on dosing pump with your weir type overflow

I've recently installed a weir type overflow on my 100g mixed reef, and due to some extenuating circumstances I wasn't really interested in even spending the $15 or so to pick up something along the lines of an aqualifter to pull air out of the device to keep the siphon going. My initial thought was to just run some airline from the nipple on the overflow down to the sump and just manually start a siphon and let it run. . .life is happy, right? Nope. I have a 2100gph flow powerhead right next ...
