T.I.B.E.T (The Incredibly Big Expensive Tank)

It arrives!

Rate this Entry
The tank will hopefully arrive next week. This week its snowed every day all day, and its making getting around the city trecharous. Sadly its not always the weather conditions that make travel so difficult. I sit on the 25th floor and right now its white out conditions; I can't see the building next to us, or any across the streets.

Because I like driving around guzzling "cheap" gas in my trunk, I drove to the hardware store yesterday and picked up plywood for the tank stand, the last of the blue board to finish the tank room, and some other odds and ends for moving the furnace air ducts. I have to say shopping was great, there was nobody in the store, no wait in line, and I got the best parking spot! Granted I did have to drive in 4-wheel drive the whole time, but I wasn't really in the mood for fishtailing.

Once the tank is built and the ducts are moved (there is an overabundance of useless offsets in the furnace piping) we can start fashioning a light rack and I can start making insanely large plumbing part orders. Anyone know of any awesome light racks I can look around at for ideas?

Of course I'll have my camera ready, and charged!

    Thanks for the link too.

Since its Friday, its a work night on the tank, so I'll probably have a pile of photos later this weekend. This is my last chance to finish prepping the house and basement for the tank builders.
