Quick question, I've heard people talk about cooking rock to get all life off of it, what is the best and safest way to do this? I have about 40 pounds of rock I want to take care of. Thanks.

Or you could just dry out the rock then cure it.
My husband boiled ours in a turkey fryer. Boiled each batch 15 - 20 minutes. (Do it outside because it stinks!) Then we set them out in the sun to dry, etc.
