long time no post, my 40 brd update

Hello all, its been 3 months since my last post, lol. An update of my tank is that I traded the "pool filter" fluval FX5 for a CPR Aquatics HOB Refugium w/ PS. It is the largest one, 28 in. I have 6700K fuge light, MJ1200 pump, air pump into a hydor bubble diffuser for the skimmer. 1.5 inches of sand, LR rubble and cheado. My yashia goby is in there now but I was thinking of putting cleaner shrimp in to reproduce to feed the tank. Will this drastically effect my copepod population? Tank occupants are a pair of osc clowns, powder blue, falco hawk. Inverts are elegance, wellsi, euphilia,Monti, fox, zoas.

Sounds like a cool set up, I love trading for equipment, and thats how I got a lot of the equipment for my current set up. The Yasa Hases are one of my favorite gobies, I've had them in pairs, as well as harems of 3 or 4.
Anyhow, as far as the cleaner shrimp, I would say no on the cleaner shrimp detrimentally affecting your pod population, especially if you leave them in the main tank instead of the fuge. In my experience however, peppermint shrimp seem to reproduce easier, faster, and more frequently than Cleaners. (maybe thats why Peppermint Shrimp are frequently available TR from O.R.A., and no other shrimps are.)
