Henry you need to set up another 29g so you can share too.

Yeah, I wish! I think I'm going to wait until I graduate from grad school first. I have been so busy with school work, MidNight.

I need to clean the back wall of my tank and get a picture taken for y'all.

I'll try to get a picture tonight. Now that winter has arrived (-25F this morning) my tank is causing some issues. The extra humidity has every window in the house fogged up, and yesterday I was late for work because my door knob was frozen shut! (FYI don't try to force a stuck door knob, the mechanism inside is pretty fragile). My next project may be making lexan covers for my tank and sump to cut down on the evaporation during winter.

Well, the backwall of the tank isn't getting clean, and I'm not motivated to keep at it when the new tank is due to arrive by the end of the month. I'll just take an as-is shot tomorrow and get it posted up. It's already the 8th, after all.

Joe, your tank is looking nice. Be sure you have a decent clean up crew to keep it algae free.

thanks Melev, a CUC is the first thing on my list after i move, ill be moving the whole setup to a house we are moving to in a few weeks, fortunately for me the sand bed wont be toxic when i move the tank and i dont have to travel far maybe 5 miles.

I've moved small tanks before, by just draining it down to the sand bed, and moving the tank with the sand still in it. Didn't have any issues, so especially with a new setup you should be fine.

I'm trying to get the black background that I promised last month on my tank before I take this months photos, but my other hobbies have been keeping me pretty busy this month.

I will try to get all three sides of my tank cleaned so I can get some pics taken. I came down with a horrible case of food poisoning or stomach bug that left me immobile most of the week. Feeling much better this morning though.

The absolute crappiest pic yet. I should have waited longer after doing water change and cleaning/maintenance. I also need to find a black backdrop to put behind the tank when taking pictures. Any tips as to making so that the white sand bed doesn't wash out the rest of the shot?

Took a picture from the livingroom since I'm hobbling around with an injured ankle. Looked fine on my iPhone but seems blurry now. Sorry.

It is called Spot Metering. Aim the camera at a neutral spot - one that isn't too bright or too dark. Then while holding the shutter half way to lock that measurement in, reframe the shot and take your picture.

OPk, thanks Marc. That RBTA is hugenormous, you need to keep that tank just for it!

That's why I have a 60g sitting here in the living room. The anemones are going in that tank.
