um what is this

Rate this Entry
It has been long overdue since I've been on. A lot of new things going on. For starters I have another munchkin on the way. I recently acquired another dog to add to, what it seems like, "my zoo". I have decided that the tank that I started earlier this year will be called Little Ireland. Awkward name for a reef tank, I know, but it was started on St. Patty's day. Not too much going on with the tank other than some creature that appears to be wrapped around my birds nest anyone have any idea what it is?

everything seems to be coming along nicely. Id like to get some new frags in the near future but running across much my direction seems a little slim without a few hour drive.

That looks like red valonia, a type of bubble algae. If you can carefully tug it out and off the rock, that would be best.

That's what we thought at first but it moves like a worm of sort

No, they are soft and thus you see some movement in the flow.

Okay. My wife had just said that it moved across the tank

It could have blown loose and landed elsewhere.
