I've been to five of these, so it looks like I need to visit a few more. Here's my list:

Dallas World Aquarium
Georgia Aquarium
Waikiki Aquarium
Monterey Bay Aquarium
Aquarium of the Pacific

I saw the outside of the National Aquarium once, but there was no time to visit. We ate nearby, and I was able to see the glass structure from afar.

This is a picture taken at the Waikiki Aquarium, with a very old Gigas Clam that has been in captivity successfully.

The Chattanooga Aquarium is very very nice also.

You must check out Shedd Aquarium in downtown Chicago. You could literally spend days there (which I have : ) )!

you left out Atlantic Marine World which has a new name I can't remember. on long island NY. 20,000 gallon reef tank. the best of the lot by a long way.

Carl, great to see you on ReefAddicts! I didn't leave it out; those were the ones I've visited that were part of the list in the article linked above. I've been to quite a few public aquariums over the years.
