It won't stop growing.

I've been watching the staghorn coral grow upwards for the past few months. When the tip hit the surface, I figured it would stop. But when I looked more closely at the tip, there are about 8 corallites poking up even though they have nowhere to go. It's kind of funny.

Here's a better picture of it. I left the pumps on so you can see it with the water level at the normal height.

And from the top of tank, I can see a few tips poking out of the water slightly. The tissue looks like an inflated skin puddle moving in the water's flow.

The mushrooming part is moving, that isn't hardened. Yet.
