Yes, I have used them in the past and will be using them again as I refill my reactor soon. They deplete over time.

Long time no post

by cruelle on 10-01-2013 at 04:48 PM
Things have been crazy with busy the family and work over the last year. Not much has changed on my current 75 gallon set up but I have been felling the upgrade bug for awhile. So I went to ask a question at my local fish store about a pump issue I was having. Hello everyone haven't posted anything for a while been busy getting ready for our new arrival. On sat (the date on my camera is off by a day) my wife gave birth to healthy baby girl named Alexa Anne. Mom and baby are now home and both are doing great. My 3.5 year old twins are happy to be big sisters! I will try and get a tank update now that I have some time away from work!

Bulb Question? Which to use...

by cruelle on 01-06-2012 at 04:10 PM
Hello everyone,

Looking to replace my 4 T5 HO coral life bulbs. Just don't like the look of them tank just doesn't pop . I was thinking of either using giesemann powercrome bulbs or ATI bulbs. My tank has mainly softies and LPS and a couple SPS. Right now kind of thinking of use the giesemann bulbs but unsure what combo of bulbs was thinking of something like this 2-aquablue + bulbs and 1-actinic + and 1-pure actinic. thoughts??

Thanks for the info
