I recently came across an icecap for super cheap, only problem is it came with no wiring. Any way i know i can buy a new harness, but im all about diy. Can anyway tell me which pin is what on the ballast so i can just make my own harness, to save me 30 bucks, like which pin is green, black, yellow and so on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Just wanted to see if anybody knew of an aquarium safe glue or adhesive, that will bond glass to a pvc bottom. Im in the prosess of building a 300 gallon tank, and i want to use a pvc bottom on it. So let me know if yall have any ideas.
I take it everone has seen the mesh mod (DIY NEDDLEWHEEL) for a pump to turn it into a skimmer pump, my question is if anyone knows a local place or a substitute for the mesh product to use on this mod. Also to get air to the pump do you just use airline tubbing on the intake of the pump and just let it hang out of the water or is it better to use an airpump?
Yes, I was wondering if anybody knew or had a list of aquarium manufactures. Trying to figure out who made my tank, I thought there use to be a sticker on it naming the manufacture, but i cant find it anymore. Trying to figure out if my tank has tempered glass or not. Any help would be greatly appcratied.
As far as the ballast goes looking for Metal Halide and t5.... ive heard some things about workhorse ballast for t5's. Anybody have any experience with these or specs?
