I was able to find a few nice little frags yesterday. I am working towards an all SPS and Chalice tank, so these two new acros and a chalice will help me along my way.
The first is a Strawberry Shortcake Acro, the second a Purple Power Acro, and the last is a BubbleGum Monster Chalice.
On the chalice front, my chalices are doing pretty well, and thought I'd show a few pictures. They have only been in my tank for about 2 months, but I am seeing growth and colors are beginning to get better.
Here are some recent pictures that I have taken of some of my SPS corals. I have kind of a mixed reef right now, but I am working towards having a half SPS and half chalice tank.
Sadly, I have procrastinated updating my blog since my custom tank arrived about 4 months ago. So much has been done to the tank that I don't even know where to begin to restart my blog. I may just post a recent front tank shot from this morning, and work my way backwards with things that I feel may be interesting or relevant. Hopefully I can be more diligent with keeping my blog updated. To be honest, I don't like change and it has taken awhile for me to wrap my head around blogs and not just updating
My custom 120g has finally arrived, as well as the stand and canopy. I am in the process of plumbing it and hanging the lights. I have been taking pictures and will be updating as I go along.
Here is a picture of the tank, stand and canopy in place. Still lots o' work to be done!
