  1. 245G Stocklist Updates

Now that my 245G has completed its cycle. It is time to add some fish. One of my goals was to keep more difficult fish. Here are the fish additions that I have made over the last few weeks.

    Falcula Butterfly (Chaetodon Falcula).

Found this at one of my the stores I go to regularly. He had been there for a couple of months and has been eating mysis.

  2. Breeding System Update

The last time that I updated Reef Addict on the breeding there were just shelves with no tanks/sump or fish. A little over three months later it is now operational with tanks, a complete sump, and all the fish moved from the prior system. Here is how it all took place.

29G Drilled and placed in the their positions.

Go out and buy another jack, that's what you can do. And get Wes to come over to help.

A club member lent me some 1" tubing.

From Sunday night to Tuesday night (two days), life appeared on the glass before my eyes. I was working the cleaning magnet across the front ...

  5. Update - 58g, 9 months and counting

Home from work today; with a hot cup of bean as my muse, I'm inspired to post an update.

I guess I should start by talking about some of the teething problems I've had with this tank. My intention was to create an automated system, making me responsible for only feedings and water changes. I’m very happy with the way everything has turned out. My interest and energy for the hobby is as strong as it ever was. This is my second tank and is moving towards its first full year of operation.
