I am getting close to adding the salt to my new tank. I have always used Kent Salt in my FOWLR tank. What does everyone recommend? And why? I am curious also how price factors in to quality and contents.
I need help with this one... about 1" long... EXTREMELY FAST... swimming all through the tank... I don't know if this is a baby eel or what the hell it is, I just saw it for the first time tonight, and it's zipping all over the place.... I got this coral in the past, and thought it was pretty neat. It's in the favia family, somewhat like the "war" coral people want. However, this one is far more shaggy. Check out the polyps on this one, which I got a few months ago. This one is down on the substrate under a 400w Radium bulb, 42" from the bulb.
Alright, to give you a better idea of where this is going, lets get a quick equipment run down out of the way. I knew going into this that I wanted a stacked tank system so that it would not take up much space. I also wanted to make the build easy and have collected most of your normal reef tank operating goods.
