Hello I just got some new frags from the LEAR fragswap in ohio where i was happy to see and talk to fellow reef addict @gist41980 and as of an hour ago were released into the tank after their dip. In the process a small amount of Interceptor got into my display tank. This will only kill shrimp and not my corals and clams right? if not and i need to do something please let me know. thank you, Blake
I got a marron clown in my tank for over a year now and I went out and bought a rose buble tip anemone. At first He went in it but then he started to put the tentacles in its mouth and started pulling them off. Anybody knows why a clown would do this?? Thanks for your help.
These two fireclowns can't make up their minds. For a couple of years they were spawning, then for the next few years they fought, now they are spawning again. This has been going on for at least ten years. The larger one is about 16 or 17 years old, I am not sure how old the smaller one is. I forget. But when they are fighting, they clean nests on opposite ends of the tank and don't tolerate each other. That can last years. Now I notice it looks like they may spawn in that bottle any ...

i have a 24x24x18"h system with a 20g sump that i want to change. i want to create a macro algae display. this is a learning curve for me so anyone have suggestions for starting-up? cheers, rick
