This week's video is up (Durso Standpipe tweak)

Rate this Entry
One of the easiest things to set up is the Durso Standpipe. It's all I've used on all my tanks for over 10 years. The 60g has been gurgling slightly under the lid, and the lid was actually adding sound akin to an echo. I decided I needed to make a small adjustment, and it worked perfectly. The video discusses it:

I also received a bunch of frags from a friend yesterday, so they had to be dipped and secured to something. Using some Ecotech Cg glue and some DD putty, I was able to get each one attached to a plug, set into an acrylic rack and placed in the sump last night.

Today I moved that rack into a corner of my reef so they can get used to my lights. They will be affixed to the rock when I decide what looks nice where. There's montipora, acropora, and a decent piece of Milka stylophora, and a chalice that isn't in the picture.
