    The L1 should. I've got two of them here that I'm about to plumb in (early February, I'd hope). I'm using the M1 on my 60g system and was amazed at how much water it could move dead silently. I've got it running now with a ramping up schedule. It gets stronger during the daytime and tapers down for the night. It uses 28w of power.

    I got it for the feeding mode as well as the battery backup option. The silence though, soooo nice.

    Now that the reactor is happy with a constant effluent rate I raised the ph again to 7. Alk has been steady at 9 for several days Even with the auto water change system operating so I'm going to leave things be. Calcium is still around 420. Now
    mag, that is still being problematic for me.It's come time for a doser to try and get that steady 1300. And see what Marc thinks of Remag when he starts using it

    I've felt that the programming is great, IF you know how to do it. The interface is not intuitive. I wish there was an "enable melev mode" with all kinds of documentation to make stuff be more obvious, and later I can turn it off. Sometimes I discover things accidentally, other times I have to be told where to look.

    I just got my Vectra programming updated in ESL. I added new data points to increase the flow over the day, and slow down into the evening.

    I'm very new to the Reeflink and Ecosmart set up. I managed to resolve my duration settings. It was an "ah hah that's how you do it" kind of thing. I had to be precise on the whole drag and drop thing and give the system a couple seconds to recognize what I'm doing. So far I've found that each Vortech must be programmed separately. I haven't explored the sinc/anti sinc set up though. Could you show or describe your programs? I'm very interested.

    It may be because I was adding more than one feed mode. 4 to be exact. I saved it when I got it right but when I used the saved one to try and program the other pump only one feed mode was there.

    I am about to place an order with TLF for my shop, and hoped to add that to the shipment so I can try it out myself. ReMag is better than MagnesiumBorn, right?

    New solenoid installed and set. Alk is 9-10 so I kept the effluent rate the same but raised the pH in the reactor to 6.8 to try to level off the climb. I've dosed 2 cups of Randy's mag recipe per day to slowly bring that up. Tomorrow I will test the big 3 again to see what's what.

    Hmm. I had the opposite experience. My only difficulty right now is setting the duration. I plan to have another crack at it tonight. I'll post later on to detail my results.

    It took me hours to get my 2 MP10's programmed. It is not very intuitive. When I would add a mode it would not always go where I put it. I had to start over several times it would get so messed up. Good luck.

    You can if you like. In the past I would pour Mg into my sump, but with the 400g I've used a small Icecap doser. It adds 99ml once an hour until the container is empty. It takes about two days to add one gallon to my system.

    The effluent should measure around 25-30 dKH. A steady broken trickle is what I run as well. I have a pH controller to shut off power to the CO2 tank when the pH has reached the lowest programmed point.

    Sorry to hear the solenoid is stuck. Better shut off the CO2 tonight, or slow the bubble rate significantly (1 bubble every 3 seconds).

    Just went to the basement sump room to check on things before bed. The co2 solenoid is stuck in the open position. Unplugged it and it's still letting co2 through. How inconvenient...

    Once you start using the Reeflink, I think you'll be pretty content. I'm using mine for the Vortechs, Radion, and now the Vectra pumps. EcoSmart Live works great via my laptop as well as the app on my iPhone.

    Tested system alk and it's at 7-8 (api). I'm still having a tough time keeping mag up too. Maybe time for a doser for mag?

    I'm at 6.6 and the controller just shut it off. I was interested when I saw that you run 7.1. I haven't measured the effluent rate but is a steady broken trickle if that makes any sense. The drip is approximately 3 inches from the water surface in the sump.

    That sounds like a good plan. What is the current pH level? 7.1 works, but you can go a little lower. I used to use 6.5 but I raised it up so it didn't dissolve the media as quickly.
