    Well the Algae issues that i was experiencing are gone, they have moved on to the next new tank. The Zoas are opened and the fish are Fat and happy.

  2. Test results for August

    I need to make a fancy table like Melev has, this was cut and pasted from a MS Excel spread sheet. Blanks are for lack of kits, where as zeros meant tested but undetectable results. I have not put my CA reactor on line as it is not needed at this point. I may need to bring the ALK up a smidge and let the CAL drop a smidge but other than that the numbers look good. That said I am still observing some stringy brown algae junk that I am certain will eventually fade, even though it does detract ...

  3. Melev's Boosted RODI Installed

    Today I installed the Boosted RODI unit (from Melev's Reef) and had the neighbor over to look at the garage. The neighbor is Mike Laforge who owns Pavement Pros and Concrete Solutions of the Carolina's in York, SC. He does exceptional work from standard driveways to concrete patios. If your in the Charlotte Metro and need concrete work I would highly recommend his work.

    I got some more goodies in from Premium Aquatics.

    Guys if you have not ever checked these guys out, you are doing a disservice to yourselves. Jason over there is phenomenal, they always try to get your order out the same day and keep you informed on any items that may not ship due to back order or a late supply. I ordered these item on Tuesday and they were waiting on my door step this afternoon.

  5. Midnight's 300g Build Some Parts and Stand draft

    Last Thursday we closed on the new house in Charlotte. The family and I went to the mountains of NC for the weekend and I snuck down to the Atlanta Reef Club for their frag swap and presentations. The swap was great, lots of fraggers and some vendors with their products up on display. Not only were they there to help explain their products but many of them contributed to the raffle.
