  1. 150g build

    so i finally got all my equipment and time and set up my 150.

    tank is 60x24x24 starphire front oceanic tank
    sump is custom built by Elegant Reef here in san antonio(which is where i got all my equipment)24x20 refugium in front
    skimmer is a sea side aquatics CS-2
    return pump 2x sicce syncra 2.0
    2x mp40-es
    light is only temp 2x 250 and 2x t5(radions coming soon)
    Reef keeper elite running the whole show

  2. last blog on my 70g

    well the time has come to upgrade.......... i have been slowly gearing up and getting equipment ready for my new tank oceanic starphire 150g tank 60x24x24. i will be combining my tank and my girlfriends tank i only have 6 fish a lot of coral and she has about 10-12 fish(more on that when i do build thread for it). so heres a pic i took 3-4 days ago of the 70g, i should be taking it down in a week or so. im excited and anxious as i know stuff will "pop" hopefully the move is smooth. ...

  3. update on my 70g reef

    last couple months ive been upgrading stuff added a mp-10, also upgraded to reefkeeper elite 3x pc4, sl1, sl2. auto top off is now controlled by reefkeeper, plan on adding a bubble magus dosing pump soon. this week end i purchased a Trigger System 18x18 sump, so i can put dosing stuff in cabinet. coral is looking the best its ever been, reallly happy with tank. excuse the wire mess that was before i snugged it up.

  4. Vortech controller holder finally!

    So why do we spend 400+ bucks for a Vortech and only get velcro to hold finally an answer. Oh and made by fellow Texan lol. a couple people in my local club have got theirs and are very happy. i should have mine this week. http://www.mrcobscorals.com/magento/...er-holder.html

  5. Sea Side Aquatics CS-1 skimmer

    For the past 3-4 months ive been wanting,saving and researching to upgrade my skimmer. my tank is a 70g(85-90 total system) medium load. i wanted the biggest skimmer i could place in my sump and maybe still use if i upgrade.
