Lighting question

I have am starting a 75 gallon reef tank. I am trying to get out of lighting as cheap as possible do you think running vho lighting is a good idea and how many should I run on a 4 foot tank. My overall goal is to keep a mixed reef tank. I would like to keep some monti and some acro. Also how many tangs can I keep in the tank?
