Another way is to check out online forums in your area. So if your in the Dallas/Ft Worth area you can check out DFWMAS and look on the for sale thread. There always breaking down a tank and selling their live rock. Usually for around $2-$2.50 a lb. . It would already be cured in most cases and may have mushrooms or polyps etc on it. Buying that way will save you alot of money. I bought 80% of all my corals that way and it save me a ton of money. Might want to check it out

MarcoRocks. It's not live but it definitely a nice way to ensure nothing nasty gets into your tank.

I purchased rock from bulkreefsupply. It is cheap and you dont have to pay for water weight on the rocks.

petco's "live rock" is not true live rock it is aqua cultured rock noting living on it. although it does make a good base rock. I use to work there. And buying rock online and having it shipped it is the same thing all the LFS do, so i think it would be fine

I have never bought live rock from saltwaterfish.com but I have bought fish a watchman goby and blue tang both 2 years old and doing great. Had great customer service I also bought some blue mushrooms which which had a whole in the bag we it arrived...called and they overnighted new mushrooms at no cost to me.

I've never bought live rock from an online dealer. If it were me, I would find the closest tropical fish store and contact them. Ask them what they have and then decide if it's worth the trip. But, I have heard a lot of people say that ordering online does save money.
