    Since I've been MIA...

    April FTS. Ignore the patch in the center that didn't get cleaned. The urchin was there.


    Did my annual sort through of my basement this past weekend. Got lots done, turfed some old stuff and found some long lost space. Tentative panels in place now for the skirting. The left side and the roof is left to do.

    I got this new tang. His name is BillyBob (no I didn't name him), and he is awesome. He has some evidence of hard living, a scared face. He has a wonderful personality though, and really active all the time so I'm thrilled. He came from a wonderfully spoiled home and I hope that he is happy in his new permanent home soon. He changed colours a few days after I got him for about 5 minutes, it was really mesmerizing and stunning to watch. Apologies on the "phone quality" it was one of those, ...

    Wow, it has been ages since I've posted here!

    We JUST sorted our issues with the city finally after over a year. I ended up taping boxes of the approximate size and placement to my walls where the city was insiting on placing moved meters, then I videotaped my dogs walking in the hallway, people, myself on crutches, and then a pregnant friend, then sent it to the city and asked why they were insistent on unsafe placement. You couldn't go past safely with crutches and my pregnant friend ...

    Got these today for lighting the fishroom. They're T8 water resistant fixtures with a battery back up. They're also intrinsically safe, and used in places like paint booths, and other areas with high moisture content. I'm excited to see them fired up.
