I do have batteries hooked up to the Vortech pumps, but to establish flow through the sump's various zones as well as the tank's overflow box is best. Water is oxygenated better because water combines with air through the plumbing as it pours into the sump, and the return pump brings this back into the tank.

For my previously smaller tanks (29g and 55g), a single APC 1500 did the job nicely for my two return pumps.

Melev what about a bank of batter backups. The power recently flipped over in my house a few weeks ago during a bad rainstorm and the battery backup unit kicked right in. Also it has the added benefits of cleaning the power that comes in which means protection the equipment installed to it. I'm considering purchasing a for more for my small setup.

It'll be a few days as I have customers waiting for orders I must complete, and I have a few things to order in. It's a beautiful tank to see in person though, and I love it.

The anemones are going into a 60g cube rimless. I have a ton of montis and a few acans in the frag tank demanding prime real estate for some time. But yes, I need more acroporas, and I'd like some M. digitatas if my Flame Angel cooperates.

You definitely need more acropora for the 400. The 210 almost look like a softy and anenome tank from the FTS.

Seems more impressive this time than when you first got it. Can hardly wait to see it full of water and livestock. I am sure that you cannot wait either.
