Thank You Mark and everyone. It's been a busy day here today, our club had a reef tour , and my tank was one of the stops. I had well over a hundred people here and it was crazy all day long. I just sat down and Mark sent me a message telling me he had posted my video. I'm honored Marc. I'll try to answer all the questions you have.
Jnarowe, Thank you, I try to vacuum small parts of my sand every w/c. Plus I have a sand star, large tigertail sea cuc, and seven leopard wrasses that keep my sandbed stireed up all the time.

    Mustang, Thank you, The dimensions are 72l x 30w x 24 h= 225 gallons.

Baker.shawn, Thank You, The coral is thriving, and growing well everyday. I have 42 fish living the life of luxury.

Hat39406, Thank you as well. I do get around. LOL

Turns out two things went wrong on this last video. I used the wrong lens on my camera, and shared it straight to YouTube instead of processing it locally. Both have an affect on quality.

Another friend of mine told me he's using his Flip HD to shoot some videos I like, so I'm going to have to bust that out and see if I can get some better results.

The video of my tank that I posted a while back was shot with my Drift HD170 in 720 resolution. My little laptop can't handle processing full 1080HD But it will give you a comparison, I compressed it locally with Win Movie Maker.

I love ORA corals. They are hardy and great looking. I currently have only two in my tank, but are my favorites !

You can't bring and set up a mature display anywhere that is only going to be there two, three days or even a week. What they showcase is what they sell to the stores nationwide. Last MACNA, they showed up on Wednesday to set up their tanks that would be there until Sunday evening. And Friday morning when the doors opened, their tanks looked picture perfect.

A vendor had a few of the ORA bred mandarins at MAX last weekend, but declined to demonstrate the feeding process. This was at 9 AM before the public got there, so perhaps he was waiting to demo it then.

great vid. too bad they didn't show up with a more mature display.

I just passed on an ORA Green Birdsnest frag today. You can't make me watch an ORA video after not picking up one of their frags that I really like... that's just wrong! lol. I had to go for the pink millepora instead. I don't have a millepora yet!

    Wasn't that ET music?
  19. melev's Avatar
I wonder if any of you will be able to guess the music? You have the right composer.

Jessy told me that I should have compressed the movie locally, then uploaded it. I shared it directly to YouTube, so it's a little soft looking. That being said, I don't think I'll upload a different version since I doubt it would make a big difference. I'll just try to improve my efforts with future videos.

During the movie, i loved the caption, but then all of a sudden, i felt like i was in StarWars.... and was waiting on Spock to pull out a superimposed Light Sabor....

but it was sweet, and i like how your fish like to swim into the penductors.
(i like the placement of the MP40. it probably helps with any movement under the returns.
