very nice easy water change system. Is it just a siphon that you pull to drain or do you have a pump to remove the water from the sump?

That was in my 29g back then, and I dosed Bionic and had PC lighting. I'd say it was lighting related more than likely.

I find it fun to look at the corals as I am sure most people do but I also enjoyed looking for equipment differences through the years. Also I am curious about something I noticed. I remember looking at old anemone pictures where they had very "fat" tentacles and back then I had only looked at the anemones but I noticed that your frogspawn also exhibited the same symptoms. Did you ever figure out why that occured? Was it something that was being dosed?

When I go visit other people's tanks, their fish are all out in the open and it makes me wish mine would be as "tame". Go figure. Why not like the hand that feeds you?

My fish do the same thing, and I sit at my desk in plain sight of all of them. But as soon as I get up from my chair, they dive into the rocks. So, when I feed, I either leave the room or go sit in my chair so they can come out.

I try to have someone stop by daily when I'm away, just to make sure all is well. They feed some frozen food and can tell me if something looks wrong via text or phone call.

Yeah, I've seen a lot of signs like that around here lately!

Lol, looks like it was converted directly from a bar. It looks looks like a neat place.

I need to make a trip out to Salty Critter near me, about 45 minutes away. There aren't many LFS's in my area.

Yikes, glad you got to fly back. Do you have a tank sitter even on short trips? I only have one friend that could understand the plumbing enough to stop a leak if something happened, and he lives 45 minutes away. So I haven't had a tank sitter in the past.

I'm looking forward to your update. Plug in the battery charger so you don't have any excuses, and clean the glass.

They are consumed by pumps, parent shrimp and fish. As soon as the flow is on, I can't even find them two minutes later. I'd have to collect them and place them in a different tank to attempt to raise any.

This is so great ! Do you find that many make it or are they a fast snack for other reef dwellers?

All the life in my refugium was my favorite part of my last tank. I can't wait until I can start seeing that again.

    Looks great!
