  1. Something still isn't right in my reef

I'm not sure what is going on, but some of my corals have lost their color. I tend to not overreact and deal with issues as they arise systematically. I've noticed certain corals are just lackluster in color, to the point I'd like to add food coloring to get it right again.

Last night I did the full battery of tests to figure out what was off, but surprisingly every single parameter came in correct:

  2. A new clutch of eggs

The clownfish are bag to laying eggs again. The female jumped from the tank a couple of weeks ago and took a hard landing on the tile, but seems to be fine.

  3. Do you ever do something dumb?

Yesterday I noticed one of the Vortech pump drivers wasn't staying on in the normal glowing color. It was flashing green, while all the others were constantly lit up green. 5. My daily view

Every day, the first thing I see is my reef and it keeps my company all day long. I check on a few things once the coffee is brewing. One comment I hear from a lot of visitors is that the glass is so clean. It's true, I prefer to keep my view unobscured and will make sure to swipe it often with the cleaning magnet. When stubborn spots appear, a plastic credit card is used to scrape those away.

I do have to give some credit to the glass itself. Starphire has a much prettier look ...
