  1. July Reef Update

The 215g continues to do well, which has been plumbed into the main sump since 4/16/12. Wow, already almost three months. Last I heard, Marineland received the crated 400g, but I've not heard anything further.

So I figured it was time for some eye candy. I've been watching the corals settle in over the past few weeks, and continue to be pleased to see their comeback. Specifically, some SPS have improved, which are my favorite coral.

Let me start off this this coral. ...

  2. Photoshopping images - Why I bother

I got a compliment today regarding one of my recent images, as it was true to life. 5. Bobby's budding reef

I ran over to Bobby's house yesterday to get some pictures of his beautiful reef. There's something to be said for smaller tank, especially while the individual corals are smaller colonies. Everything looks cleaner, more tidy.

The other reason I'm sharing this is because of his gear selection. He's upgraded to a smaller tank with better gear over what he had previously.
