  1. By request: the yellow sponge

I had someone ask me recently what the yellow stuff was on my liverock, so I got a good macro shot of this pretty hithchiker sponge. It can get out of hand with some corals, but I like looking at it.

  2. Cool picture from tonight

I was shooting some macro pictures this evening, and liked how this one came out. I call it "Ghostly Hammers".

EDIT: I have a few more I'd like to add. I was editing images in Lightroom and Photoshop, comparing the results between the two. I tend to feel I have better control and get a better crisp image in Photoshop over Lightroom.

  3. Top down pictures

I decided to get a bunch of pictures of the frags that were added last month as well as some of my corals that survived the ordeal of the tank breakdown and rebuild.

  4. Pictures at dusk

When the third MH is the only light on, the bommie has a very pretty dusk look to it. It's one of my favorite times to view my reef from the kitchen-side. I tried to capture that look and feel recently.

  5. Macro March pictures

Jessy has been bugging me to use the iMac for more than just skype, so tonight I offloaded pictures onto the Mac, processed them in Lightroom, uploaded them via Cyberduck to my site and have a few shots to share with you.

    In no particular order...
