Yes, I'm still using Prodibio. I'm not sure why the number spiked all of a sudden, but that's what the kit shows. So biopellets have been added again, which I'd not used in about 15 months.

Are you still doing prodibio? And would this suggest that its not an effective way to remove nitrates and only supplemental. I assume so since you said you are going to start bio pellets. Curious since I just started using the line of prodibio products after I won a sample pack at MACNA. Started vodka recently as well, which makes it hard to tell whats working the prodibio or the vodka

Not ugly, but not pretty. I am sure there are a lot of people out there that would like your frag tank as their display tank! I am envious of your acrylic skills! I wish I had time to learn to do what you do. It won't be long until your own acrylic tank manufacturing company! Maybe you can get NatGeo to get you a TV show, lol!

Should a frag tank be ugly? I figured I'd prefer something appealing to my eye.

Everything is looking good Marc! I really like that new frag tank! It looks a little too nice to be a frag tank though!?!

I did it once or twice during the six years the 280g was running. This is the first time for the 400g. I got it done two nights ago, and filmed it for another upcoming video.

Nice update Marc! My sump and fuge are both bowed to some extent.I hope they don't fail. How many times have you restarted your refugium? I recall you harvesting the macro.

I like that idea a lot! Multi level back up based on need or severity. Why have a generator kick in untill things get drawn out when a ups will suffice for short term.

I still have a generator for extended periods, but for the initial glitch, keeping everything communicating for a while is what I wanted. Plus now if I'm working at my desk, I don't lose internet waiting for the modem / router to reboot.

I remember you had a generator? Did that go away? We've been lucky that we don't get many outages but if we ever move to an acreage or small town I think I would need a whole home generator. Are the ups units better for running tank equipment?

I've never been to a public aquarium. I got comfortable, made sure a beverage or two was close by and hit play. Just absolutely jaw dropping astounding!!!

Art and science. Love the looks of that sump and that one piece eurobrace on the tank is very cool.

Yes. The spot you are asking about runs from one drain from the frag tank. The water would fall down the pipe on the right naturally. But when I close that ballvalve partially, only some water comes out and the rest is diverted to the opposite side of the sump to enter into the skimmer zone. The second drain of the frag tank is running to the skimmer section. With this configuration, 75% of the water drains into the skimmer zone and 25% drains into the refugium section.

And, I wish I was able to join in on that photography workshop. Alas, Canada is a fair distance from Texas.
