New Additions

I picked up two frags at Exotic Frags, one of the many booths at Next Wave yesterday. A chalice and a Blasto merletti.

First the obligatory blue picture, of course.

I was so busy working my booth ...

It's late, probably between 12:30 a.m. and 1 a.m. and I still needed to feed the suncorals. The food was waiting nearby, thoroughly thawed since the majority had been fed to my reef earlier this evening. When the reef is dark the suncorals open up to feed, and as long as I feed them often they are predictable.

When I feed the suncorals in my frag tank, I turn off all the flow and turn on the white light above to see those little hungry mouths. The deep green branching suncoral has ...

The two new angels were released into the reef with zero issues. No aggression, no drama, nothing to worry about. They seem to be making themselves at home nicely.

Yesterday, Fedex showed up with four big boxes from LiveAquaria. I couldn't believe my eyes.





I mean, this can't be all my order. When I'd placed my order, there was some discussion of quantity, and I replied with "Surprise me." I'm not picky - I love my fishies and I wasn't sure what they had in stock ready to ship. ...

Last week, I placed an order for two African Flameback Angels. They were itty-bitty and I had to have them. However, the vendor notified me that one wasn't doing well and we decided to hold off on the order for the time being.

Last night, he sent me a new picture, and I was sold.


I hope they will get along with the other fish in the tank, because they are beautiful. And tiny!
