Top off & Down shots

Rate this Entry
I was doing some weekly maintenance last night since my wife was at work and I had the house to myself. It's much easier to do some tank chores when no one is around to distract you. That way you don't miss anything or forget to do something important like turn the pumps back on.
Since I was finished and had my screen top off, I decided to take some pictures to share.  My coral has really grown this year and you get much better perception from the top down.

WOW. That hammer coral is much bigger than a realized. That's fun-tactic! What's the purple one, some type of M. capricornis? It's another dominating coral in your tank. Thanks for sharing your tank with us.

Thanks Marc. The purple cap is Idaho Grape. I've fragged it many times and it grows even faster. Trying to keep it from encrusting over all the other corals is a full time job. I have no idea what I'm going to do with the hammer. LOL

Absolutely stunning aquarium. I would love to take a piece of the Idaho Grape when I get my equipment and tank parameters settled in if your having such a growth problem. LOL
