i 2nd the bakpak skimmer, worked really well for me. The only drawback was the noise, but like everything i learned to live with it.
I use a BakPak II on a 50, and it works well, but needs to be cleaned and adjusted daily.
I used the Prizm skimmer for long time on a 120g worked great.
The Aqua-C Remora is rated for 65g, and works nicely. Deltec came out with a HOB skimmer, and Eshopps did as well.
I had a Coralife Super skimmer 65 when I first started my tank. I work great until it overflows. Like all HOB skimmers, they will overflow at sometime. The wife was not too happy with the flood. Is there a reason why you don't want to run a sump ?
