I'm new to this site, but I googled custom LeeMar tanks as I'm looking at buying one soon as I'm home from Afghanistan and I seen your first post and couldn't see more so I joined the site was a little confused on the random question lol but I'm glad I joined and got to see this beautiful tank!!!! What are the dimensions of the tank? And as melev was wondering how do you like the AI LEDs?

The tank looks great! Out of curiosity have you been running the AI's from the start? I've been going back and forth on getting them to put over my 325 but haven't seen many people using them on a 30" deep tank. Judging by the pics your coral definitely don't hate them!

I love all the pictures you posted. I won't click on all of those thumbnails as it'll take forever to open them all, but it looks like a bunch of colorful treasure.

Fresh air helps immensely. My tank runs 8.1 to 8.3 daily with a calcium reactor.

Where's your sump room? Is that a basement or next room? Actually, you've setup your tank exactly like I am going to do. I'm building a divider between my living room and kitchen with an 8' divider and 250g tank. Looking at yours totally made me think..... mine's gonna suck!!!

    Truly awesome!

Your tank is looking great - lots of hardwork that has paid off nicely.

I'd like to suggest you clean up your dart pumps soon as they are accumulating dust where they need to vent. A shop vac and some compressed air should do the trick.

How are you liking your AI lights? They sure don't take up much space. Any special lighting schedule? With that many, you could definitely run a staggered period if you wanted to.

What kind of fish is the red/orange one that is hiding in the rock work? Is it a clown?

What did you use to secure your rocks together? (putty)
If we are both talking about the same fish It is a hawk fish. Lets see if we are both on the same page. Is this the guy checkout the link and let me know:

As to the rock-work! Lets just say that I am a pretty good free stacker. None of my live rock is glued epoxied or puttied. I very carefully choose the rock and spent the better part of 3 days stacking it. I do use 2 part putty for affixing coral.

Do we have any new updates....can't wait to see how this will look, I really like peninsula tanks.

Well, I don't know about everyone else, but to have to click on 26 images to see them is something I won't do personally. I may pick one or two to do so, if I have the time. However, if they are already there at a viewable size and I'm scrolling down, this method works well for me. (It isn't all about me, no matter how you read this - LOL) Maybe all these thumbnails are good for cellphone browsers though. /shrug

The sump itself seems to have too small a return section. What is the zone right after the refugium? Is that the skimmer section, and where you will be putting filter socks?

Perhaps the reason you didn't get any replies is because you posted thumbnails. I find that posting a picture that is 640x480 or 770x512 is usually best, and allows people to see what you are sharing as they read the captions entered.

Mark, help me better understand what you are saying. I uploaded all of these photo which you can click on and see a HI RES photo of. Are you saying that you cannot see the HI RES by click on the individual photos? Or are you saying that I should avoid using thumbnails all together?

To answer your question the plumbing under the tank is glued as well as the closed loop and return pumps, but the drains are dry fitted. I left them dry fitted so that I could better place my filter socks & hangers after they deliver tomorrow. I was very careful with the glue and my OCD forced me to turn all glued pipe so that the words on it cannot be seen! I know you are the sump master, I would appreciate feed back or input. Thanks for you help again and this awesome site.
