    I was able to attend the Frag Fest in the area Sat, and came home with a few new additions to the Tank, and one supriseing stow away.

  2. My mad computer skills

    Thanks to my skills with a computer, And my willingness to help out the LFS's ailing laptop, I walked away with a really great deal on this little guy.

  3. New pictures I took last night

    I believe this is a birds nest frag


    This Favia was much darker in the LFS. I have just moved him up 6 inches from the sand bed to here. My tank is 30" tall with 250 MH, where should he be? Or is this good coloring? This picture is a good representation of actual color of tank/corals

  4. New Tank Build - Coming Soon!

    Just purchased a 150 Gal tank off Craig's List today. I'm picking it up Friday afternoon. The tank is 7' x 1.5' x 2', so same cross section as my current 65 Gal freshwater tank, but 4' longer! It comes with a pretty nice, very strong looking stand that is only 24" tall, this will work well since it will located along a short wall giving me close to 2 feet above for lighting. And also making for easy maintenance and viewing from couch height. This will be long, slow build as I have to make some ...

  5. A testament of life.......

    So I have a 10g tank, in my soon to be fish room, with some old substright, a bio wheel backpack filter and a light. The tank temp is below 60 degrees and the salinity is at 1.023. The light stays on for about an hour a day and has some natural light for the rest of the day. It has been running like this for about a month.
