  2. Glue

    Just wanted to see if anybody knew of an aquarium safe glue or adhesive, that will bond glass to a pvc bottom. Im in the prosess of building a 300 gallon tank, and i want to use a pvc bottom on it. So let me know if yall have any ideas.

  3. New display under construction!

    We decided to go ahead and order a new tank from Great Lakes Aquariums. We ended up ordering the 205 show, 72X30X22. Our current leaker was 72x18x24. So we lose a few inches of height, but more than make up for it in width. I do believe my fish, esp my 3 tangs, will adore their new home. I'll get some pics up soon of the tear down and current homes for everything. I was going to get some pics up tonight, but am feeling a bit lazy, lol.

  4. A real Addict

    I live less than one mile from the best reef store in town, so Im in there alot.
    Yesterday I found my self walking in the place in my pajama bottoms and a reef club shirt "I glue animals to rocks".I hadnt shaved in a couple of days and my hair was a bit mussed.The two workers behind the counter looked at me and just began to giggle.....it had been all of 24 hrs since they saw me last.
    I bought a coco worm I had been eyeing for a week or so.Then spent the balance of the afternoon/night ...

  5. Leaking display :(

    Yeah, my display tank has a small leak. Luckily, not catastrophic, especially after just having the basement dry out from my last flood, lol! Tomorrow I have to move everything downstairs to my coral propagation and fish broodstock tanks and drain the display until we can find a replacement tank. Jon engineered the system so it can run without the display, so once the display is empty I just have to turn a ball valve before I fire the pump back up.

    Still, this is not my ideal plan ...
