  1. My biggest mistake so far....

    Hey guys can't help but the write real quick and ask what is everyone biggest mistake so far in this hobby? at this point as I watch yet another blue clove polyp spawning I wish I had never put that coral in my tank, they are worse than xenia once they start spawning and there are so many of them I think they are the reason I am having issues growing sps....

    My friend and fellow reefer Tuan asked me a while back if I wanted any frags. Well, he's got a gorgeous touquoise staghorn acro that I just couldn't resist. Today he dropped it off. Seems he had a bit of trouble cutting the frag though. What he brought was a branch over 6" long! here's a photo of the tip.

  5. vortech pump placement and modes

    hey all, i have a 55g reef tank and im currently using a single mp10 to create the flow in my tank for a long time i used it on one end of the tank and it kinda left the other side of my tank dead, i intend to purchase antother one when i get a chance and find a good deal on one. anyways i recently moved the vortech to the back of my tank and about 6" from the surface of the water and dead center in the tank, it seems as of right now that this is the optimum placement for my tank, along with ...
