    2 mp10w es
    15 gallon sump with completely undersized skimmer
    Mag 9.5 return pump
    8 x 54watt T-5's

  3. Show me your skimmate!

    hello everyone show me your skimmate is something i started at tcrc our local reef club and i though i would start it here.

    i want for everyone to share their dirty pictures.... XP no not those silly! i want to see what your skimmer cup looks like in a week or if it gets full before a weeks time just take a pic of it full. i also want you to tell what skimmer you have

  4. Trouble with Snails - Could these Hitchhikers be the problem?

    I posted before that I've been having trouble with many of my snails dying. Not sure of the cause I've tried many things and received many suggestions.

    I took out about 70% of my live rock and have been cooking it for several months. I wanted to see if there was something on the live rock that was killing the snails.   5. ARGG! Cyano just won't go away...

    I installed a SMR around January/February this year and had heard reports that it may trigger a cyano bloom that would eventually subside. In my case, that worked out to be true. I gave it a little encouragement with a popular product called Chemi-clean. But then it came back a month later. Slowly, but steadily. I treated again and increased the flow in my SMR to make sure I wasn't getting any dead spots in the reactor. I'm currently in process of my fourth treatment this year - and as a guy ...
