Hi all, I know its been a long time since I've posted anything about my tank on here, so here it goes. I basically ignored my tank for about 4 months due to travel/work/laziness etc. I didn't do anything, dose, water change...just fed the fish once a day. So obviously my corals took a downturn. Hi everyone, Recently I have been having some problems with my tank. My nitrates were on the rise, they ended up getting to 40 ppm, I did constant large water changes and started using bio pellets but things just got worse. Since then I removed the bio pelltets and went back to basics. I ended up discovering that my sand bed was the cause of my nitrate problems.
